Born and raised in a small town in Newfoundland and Labrador, Robyn grew up with a very active lifestyle. From recreational and provincial sports teams to gymnastics and a love for hiking; suffering injuries both major and minor was something she grew accustomed to; therefore health practitioners were no strangers. So, when it came time to choose a career path it seemed only obvious for her to pursue a career as a Registered Massage Therapist.
After working in Newfoundland for 2 years as an RMT, it was time for a change. She had always wanted to move to Halifax, as she loved the city when she had travelled before and it was still close enough to home so she could see her family regularly.
Robyn specializes in deep, focused treatments and not only addressing the problem, but everything surrounding it. With her career being entirely clinically based, she is more than accustomed to treating clients suffering injuries from sports, motor vehicle accidents, work related injuries as well as general wear and tear, prenatal and general relaxation.
Alongside her training in Newfoundland, Robyn has completed the Cupping Therapy course and she hopes to take courses in reflexology, taping, and myofascial release in the near future.
Robyn firmly believes, from experience, that the combination of Massage Therapy and Chiropractic care yields optimal physical and mental wellness for all ages.
